Human Concerns Opportunities

Bereavement
This ministry assists those who have lost a loved one through hospitality during the funeral visitation. In addition, this ministry continues to assist families by offering support group meetings, All Souls Day liturgy and reception, along with messages of support at Christmas and Easter.

Sewing Ministry
This ministry meets two Monday mornings a month to make bibs, quilts, and burp cloths for our Heavenly Babies ministry. Fabric donations are always appreciated!

Elizabeth Ministry
This ministry is an outreach to women during childbearing years and beyond. It offers prayer support through the Rosebud Bouquet and Baptism Gift Bags.

Free Clothing Share
Every April and October, we host a clothing share where everyone is welcome and everything is FREE! Everyone is welcome to come find clean, useable clothing as well as shoes, toys, books, small household items, etc. Donations are accepted the week of the event. The Giving Tree
Near the beginning of Advent each year, our parishioners choose angel or star ornaments and then purchase and return gifts to make someone's Christmas a little brighter. Would you like to be someone's angel this Christmas?

This ministry offers a variety of services for those struggling with health issues. It offers home visits, hospital visits, and communion visits.

Heavenly Babies
The Heavenly Babies Ministry celebrates young mothers who have CHOSEN LIFE for their babies! Our "baby-showers-in-a-bag" bring smiles and hope to moms in need! If you're interested in donating gently used baby items or helping pack gift bags, we'd love to hear from you!GET iNVOLVED

Hope Center Ministry
In March and October, volunteers assist Hope Center in their mission to serve people in need in Waukesha County. Our volunteers serve the meal, beverages, and desserts. We also hold an annual supply drive to help those struggling in the community.

Loaves and Fishes
This monthly, monetary collection provides support to Casa Maria House of Hospitality Homeless Shelter, Kettle Moraine Food Pantry, and St. Ben's Community Meal Program.

This ministry manages the annual fundraiser for Life's Connection in Waukesha and Mukwonago, a Pro-Life pregnancy resouce center.

St. Ben's Community Meal Program
St. Paul has been serving a monthly beef stew meal since 1984. Supported through the Loaves and Fishes collection, this meal serves between 350-500 guests.

St. Michael's benefits from our financial support as a sister parish. This group participates in empowerment programs such as home ownership through ACTS Housing and education advocacy programs.

Work and Pray
Handmade prayer shawls, stoles and baptismal blankets are knitted/crocheted on the first/third Mondays of the month. These beauitful works are distributed to people needing support or comfort. If you or someone you know would like one, please contact the parish office.
